Reminder: All travel authorization and service provider requests are handled ex parte through the eVoucher system. Only budgeting and subpoena requests are submitted ex parte by hand delivery to the Clerk’s Office.

Becoming a CJA Panel Attorney
Attorneys who wish to be considered for the CJA panel or mentorship program established in the Eastern District of Tennessee as part of the plan for representation of indigent defendants under the Criminal Justice Act of 1964, 18 U.S.C. 3006A, should submit a completed application by email to: [email protected] or by mail to: Federal Defender Services, 800 S. Gay Street, Suite 2400, Knoxville, TN 37929.
PLEASE NOTE: Applications submitted between January 1 and June 30 will be considered at the fall CJA Panel Selection Committee meetings and applications submitted between July 1 and December 31 will be considered at the spring CJA Panel Selection Committee meetings.
